On April 18, Manny Pacquiao steps back into action in Las Vegas for an exhibition bout against Ruslan Provodnikov.

Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao is set to face former light-welterweight world champion Ruslan Provodnikov in a 10-round exhibition on 18 April at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

The 47-year-old Pacquiao returned from a four-year retirement in July, fighting to a majority draw against WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios. Although he initially sought a rematch, the eight-division world champion has instead chosen to pursue an exhibition contest.

“I carry the Philippines with me every time I fight,” Pacquiao said. “The support from my country and fans around the world inspires me. I’m ready to put on a great show.”

Pacquiao holds a professional record of 62-8-3 and remains unbeaten in exhibition bouts (two wins, one draw). Provodnikov, 42, retired in 2016 with a 25-5 record after competing at light-welterweight and welterweight.
